OK, so we're all getting a bit bored with lock-down, right?

As keen members of the Bwlchysarnau camera club, we create for ourselves bags of opportunity to take landscape and still life pictures - and of course we take plenty of pictures of each other, both casually and in a studio environment.

...Time for a new challenge though;

If you think you might have what it takes to be a fashion model, or maybe you just fancy a nice picture for your profile or avatar, why not contact us to fix a portrait session. All we ask is £5 to cover the cost of the hall hire.

Just complete the application form (link here) and we'll get in touch just as soon as we can to arrange a good time and date.

Guidelines

1. - What do you want?

It's good to have an objective. Have a think about the kind of portrait you'd like. We can work with you to that end.
You might want a mug shot for your resume, LinkedIn or professional profile.  ..or something more zany, just because you can!

2. - Accessories

Think about a look that reflects who you are as a person. - Professional, smart/casual, fashion model, tradesman.

How about accessories? Hats, gloves, earrings, bangles, scarves. What are your favourite colours?
For the girls, can lipstick colours match your other accessories like hat, scarf,   ...red cabbage leaves?     :)

3 - Posing

Why not have a look through some portrait images online and picure yourself in some of the poses you come across?

4 - Companion for the shoot

Although not necessary, we would encourage you to come with a friend or family member.
Not only can they offer moral support and make you feel at ease, but they might also ba able to get involved. They could even sit for their own portrait!

5 - Permissions

You may use any images we provide you with in any way you please, royalty-free, including in any commercial capacity.
In turn we reserve the right to use images of you in any non-commercial capacity. e.g. our own portfolios. We will not publish your name or any other data.

6 - Terms & Conditions

Please read our terms and conditions which are there to protect us, not to snare you! (opens in a new tab)
